hand-picked for their location, comfort and conservation credentials

Camp Okuti

Camp Okuti lies alongside the Maunachira River, which flows through the Xakanaxa Lagoon within the world renowned Moremi Game Reserve.

Okuti has recently been rebuilt amidst the wilderness of one of Botswana's prime game viewing regions.

Guests experience game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve in specially designed safari vehicles, allowing unhindered views for game viewing and photography.

In addition to game drives guests can explore the delta waterways by motorboat - from open lagoons to winding channels it is a birder's paradise, especially for herons and storks in the breeding season.

Stanley's Camp

Stanley's Camp is situated on a private concession, bordering the southern section of the famous Moremi Game Reserve, thus affording guests absolute exclusivity.

The area is home to a wide variety of big game including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog.

Each canvas tent at Sanctuary Stanley's boasts a traditional ceiling fan and is individually designed, but all have a classic and understated elegance that harks back to the explorers and colonialists of the 19th century.

Large wooden decks provide private areas for guests to relax in hammocks or enjoy cocktails before dinner in the spectacular dining mess

Stanley Safari Lodge (cottage)

Stanley Safari Lodge is actually in Zambia but we're including it because it's only 3km from the Victoria Falls which is a great place to finish a Safari. The views are splendid with the mist of the falls in the distance and the mighty Zambezi River and of course another beautiful African sunset.

The open-sided Main House has been designed with space and views in mind and has a truly African feel.

Enjoy sundowners in the African style lounge, a 3 course dinner in the dining room or spend some quiet time in the library or upper deck discovering the secrets of Africa.

The atmosphere at Stanley Safari Lodge is tranquil and intimate, and with only 10 private cottages or suites, we are able to give you an unmatched level of entirely personalised service.

Savute Safari Lodge

Savute Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the Savute channel which is renowned for its population of bull elephants and for the unique interaction of the resident predator species.

The 12 timber and thatched suites have private decks, combined bedroom and sitting areas and en-suite facilities.

The sitting area, library and cocktail bar is situated in an exquisite thatch and timber main building.

Savute boasts a viewing deck, an al fresco dining area and swimming pool - which is ideal for watching game at the waterhole.

Skybeds

Looking for a truly unique way to spend time in the bush? Then look no further than our fabulous Skybeds, located deep within the Khwai Private Reserve. As the name suggests, this is no ordinary safari camp. Each “room” is actually a three-story raised platform, overlooking the wildlife-spotted plains of Khwai. Charmingly rustic yet perfectly stylish, you’ll find a bathroom with flushing toilet on the first floor, a dressing area, and the ultimate cherry on the top floor, an enormous double bed, draped in white linens and a feather duvet and completely open to the stars.

With such spectacular skies overhead, you could be forgiven for forgetting about what’s happening down below. But keep one eye on the ground, for the Skybeds overlook a busy waterhole. In one night we’ve seen wild dog, lion, elephant and hyena – and that’s just the beginning. So, whilst we can’t guarantee you’ll get much sleep, we can guarantee one of the wildest and most wonderful safari experiences you’ll ever have

Sable Alley

Not only is Khwai Private Reserve one of Botswana’s best kept secrets, it’s also home to the lovely Sable Alley. Opened in 2017, Sable is a piece of light, bright and beautiful luxury amid the game-rich floodplains of Khwai, and the best news is that it’s as sustainable as it is sophisticated. We’ve partnered with the local communities in Khwai, and proceeds from staying at Sable Alley go straight back into the Khwai Village community projects.

And what about the wildlife? Located right on the banks of a lily-covered lagoon, home to harrumphing hippo and a favourite drinking spot for elephant and buffalo, the big game quite literally comes to you at Sable. But as tempting as it is to stay in camp, venture out you should, for Khwai offers one of Africa’s greatest and most exclusive safari experiences. Have your binos at the ready for lion, leopard, wild dog, buffalo, elephant and hundreds of dainty antelope as you drive through the diverse landscapes.
